Editorial standards and corrections

AI Speed Canada is an independent Canadian connection tool and technology explainer operated by A.Ash. Contact the publisher at info@aispeed.ca or through our contact page. We cover internet and network technology, Canadian broadband policy, and AI systems that affect Canadian readers.

Original analysis and source records

Articles labelled “Original analysis” are AI Speed Canada explanations. They link to the statements, reports or research used and separate reported facts from interpretation. An analysis of an earlier event is dated from its own publication; we do not present an older event as breaking news. Some articles may be researched or drafted with AI assistance; an AI-generated passage is not evidence. The publisher remains responsible for reviewing claims, dates, links and illustrations before release.

The “Latest source updates” list on our news page collects brief excerpts from third-party feeds. Those source records are labelled, link to the original publisher, and are excluded from search indexing. Their appearance does not mean AI Speed Canada independently verified the entire report. An arXiv preprint may not have been peer reviewed.

How we check and update work

• We attribute factual claims to accessible primary documents where possible and date claims that can change.
• We do not invent quotes, provider rankings, city speed averages or address-level availability.
• Illustrations are identified as illustrations; they are not presented as photographs of events.
• We update an article only when new evidence or a meaningful correction warrants it, and identify substantive changes in the article. We do not change dates just to make an old story look new.

Advertising, corrections and contact

Advertising may appear on the site. It does not determine what we say in an article. Any future sponsored content or affiliate relationship must be clearly disclosed next to the relevant content. To report a factual error, email info@aispeed.ca with the article URL, the claim and a supporting source. We review corrections and update the article when the evidence supports a change.
